The Bahamas Humane Society a private, non-profit charitable organization
governed by an active and energetic Board of Directors. We receive
no financial support from Government. Your generous help will assist us
with our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving, forever homes
for wonderful and deserving animals in need. The money that is donated
is put to great use - even a few dollars can help the wonderful dogs and
cats that are in our care.

Sponsor a Specific Dog or Cat:
We have many animals that have special needs and/or expensive vet bills.
Some have to go through heartworm treatment; some come to us with parasites,
mange, or illnesses/injuries that were not properly taken care of. Our
adoption fees don't come close to paying for the care of these animals.
Sponsoring an animal with a monetary donation will help the Bahamas Humane Society to continue to save dogs and cats that may need a little
extra TLC. We thank you and our animals thank you, also.

Most of our animals come to us with nothing - not even a collar to call
their own. So, if you see a good sale on collars, balls, toys or treats
at the local pet store, please think about buying a couple of extra ones
to donate to our good cause. Your donation will help us care for a needy
